En este libro aprenderas sobre Los falsos amigos o cognados. Existen en el idioma inglés cierto número de palabras, las cuales tienden a “engañar” a la persona que está aprendiendo este idioma. El termino engañar aquí se refiere al significado de la palabra, ya que al parecerse esta palabra a una ya existente en nuestro idioma natal, tendemos a asociar su significado directamente al que la misma tiene ya en nuestra lengua. Asi, cuando vemos una palabra como Motorist, de inmediato la asociamos con Motorista. Pero resulta que ese no es el caso, ya que Motorist en inglés significa otra cosa: el significado de Motorist en inglés es Conductor, chofer, persona que maneja un vehiculo, no una motocicleta. Motorista en el idioma inglés se escribe Rider.
